VM Plans

Plan Features

• full root access.
• uncontended memory, the amount of memory in the VM plan is exclusively assigned to each VM, no "overselling" of memory is possible.
• the VM is unmanaged, the customer is responsible for all aspects of managing their VM server, including backups, patching, applications, backups, firewalling and DNS. You will have SSH root access and are expected to be a competent Linux administrator.
• swap space equal to twice physical memory
• independent console access, including the ability to reboot your VM
• backup disk space on a separate backup storage server (management and monitoring of these backups is a customer responsibity).

Notes

• No VM set-up fee.
• Month by month contract.
• If you wish to cancel just give us 10 days notice prior to your monthly billing date.
• Two IPs included per VM as standard. Additional IPs are 5 pounds each, one-off setup charge (subject to providing suitable technical justifiction per RIPE rules).
• Overage data transfer use 20 pence per GB, chargeable monthly in arrears.

Setup Timescales

• VM orders received Monday to Friday before 3pm will typically be completed the same day by 6pm.
• VM orders received after 3pm Monday to Friday will typically be done the next business day before 6pm.
• VM orders received after 3pm Friday and through the weekend will typically be completed by Monday 6pm.
• Above timescales are subject to completing credit card verification and authorisation procedure (where applicable).
